Szentgyörgyi Szandra designs light installations and lamps, and also participates in large-scale interior design projects. Her light installations are monumental, unique creations made for specific spaces. Her lighting solutions for public buildings are hybrid in nature, interpretable at the intersection of design and fine art, and imbued with emotional and philosophical content. In her work, Szandra Szentgyörgyi focuses on the interaction and interplay between material and light, seeking the new aesthetic and visual qualities that arise from this, in many cases creating spatial light graphics.

The material in the exhibition entitled Möbius Variations is the result of three years of research conducted as part of the MMA Scholarship Program. The Möbius strip, a tense shape symbolizing infinity, appears in the exhibition in various materials and numerous formal variations, telling the story of the shape-shifting and elusively rich character of light through graphics, lamps, and installation solutions.
