Exhibitions

The exhibition of teacher and students was organised at the invitation of the Etyek Workshop Foundation in the exhibition halls and garden of the Etyek Gallery. The temporary exhibition traces in space and time the extraordinary creative and pedagogical work of Lilla Lakatos, teacher of visual and environmental culture. Lilla Lakatos has been involved in the creative activities of the Etyek Workshop from the very beginning, since 1974. She is a follower and promoter of Györgyi Csókos ‘approach to the teaching of weaving. In addition to her work in the field of textiles, she uses various experiments with materials and forms in her teaching, as well as complex methods of community education. The snapshots in the exhibition highlight and summarise Lilla Lakatos’ wide-ranging artistic activities and her innovative, participatory and collaborative pedagogical work. photos by Erika Szabó
